i’ll be home for christmas (no, really.)

For the first time since 2007, I’m NOT moving anywhere right after Christmas. Instead of packing up my belongings and saying goodbyes, I’m painting my bedroom and putting up decorations. In other words, I’m staying put and it feels oh-so good.

There’s an adrenaline rush that comes with moving, and there is a sigh of relief that comes with home.

Lately, home has been full of flash mobs, Christmas parties, birthday parties, after-parties, going away parties, Friday night out with the girls, and of course, Sunday morning pancakes with the roommates.

I’m getting ready to go down to Mexico with my family and then up Ohio for a week (both of which I’m excited about), but there is also a celebration in my spirit knowing that when my travels are over I’ll end up right back where I started…

home.
